Abide

In the book of John, chapter 15; Jesus clearly explains the benefits of abiding in Him. He said abiding in Him will provide us safety, prosperity, love, joy and blessings. No goodness will come unto you unless you abide in the vine. He said "I am the True Vine, and my Father is the Husbandman. If we abide in Jesus, we will bring forth much fruit, if not we will become branches that withers up, gathered by men and cast into the fire and burned. To my understanding, I can stay and trust in the Lord, or disobey His commandments, begin a spiritual death and becoming lost in this cold, malicious world. By staying connected to Jesus, it is like being connected to life support, where you receive all the much needed rudiments to survive. Lose that connection and it will be like a blood clot lodged in your body that is preventing a part of your body from receiving the necessary nutrients from your blood supply. Eventually that limb or organ will wither up and die. Stay connected to Christ, Abide in Him forever!!!
